1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Noor Travels mobile application and the website at noortravels.co.in (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Noor Travels ("we", "our", or "us"), a cab booking service based in Uchipuli, Tamil Nadu, India.
By downloading the App, creating an account, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Noor Travels provides a technology platform that connects passengers with independent cab drivers across Tamil Nadu. We facilitate ride bookings, fare calculation, payment processing, and trip tracking. We do not operate the vehicles directly; drivers are independent partners.
The availability of drivers depends on demand and location. We do not guarantee that a driver will always be available at any given time or location.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law.
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
- One person may not maintain more than one active account. Accounts are non-transferable.
4. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must register with a valid mobile phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately at ameen@noortravels.co.in if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
5. Bookings and Fares
- Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and applicable surge or night charges.
- The estimated fare shown before booking is indicative. The final fare is determined at trip completion and may vary due to route changes, tolls, or waiting time.
- All fares are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
- We reserve the right to adjust fare structures at any time, with notice provided through the App.
6. Cancellation Policy
- Before driver assignment: You may cancel a booking at no charge.
- After driver assignment: Cancellations made after a driver has accepted your booking may incur a cancellation fee. The applicable fee will be displayed in the App at the time of cancellation.
- No-shows: If you are not at the pickup location within a reasonable waiting time (typically 5 minutes after driver arrival), the booking may be treated as a cancellation and a fee may apply.
- Drivers may also cancel a booking if the passenger cannot be reached or if the pickup location is unsafe.
7. Refund Policy
- Refunds for valid cancellations or overcharges will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Disputes regarding fares or charges must be raised within 7 days of the trip date by contacting ameen@noortravels.co.in.
- We reserve the right to investigate all refund requests. Refunds are at our sole discretion where the Terms have been violated.
- Promotional credits, referral bonuses, and coupons are non-refundable and non-transferable.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Treat drivers courteously and not engage in abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour.
- Not transport illegal items, controlled substances, or items prohibited by applicable law.
- Not use the Service to solicit drivers to operate outside the platform.
- Ensure that any co-passengers in your booking comply with these Terms.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account for violations of these Terms without prior notice.
9. Our Responsibilities and Limitations
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the App is available and functional. However, we do not warrant that:
- The Service will be available at all times or free from interruptions, errors, or bugs.
- Drivers will always be available in your area at the time of request.
- Estimated arrival times will always be accurate.
Noor Travels is a technology platform and not a transportation company. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent driver partners, including accidents, loss, damage, or delay.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Noor Travels, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of revenue, profits, goodwill, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with the Service.
- Any damages resulting from the conduct of drivers or third-party service providers.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific ride that gave rise to the claim, or ₹500, whichever is lower.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Noor Travels and its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the website and in the App — including the Noor Travels name, logo, design, and software — is the exclusive property of Noor Travels or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ramnad District, Tamil Nadu, India.
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, we encourage you to contact us at ameen@noortravels.co.in to resolve the dispute amicably.
14. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify registered users through the App or by SMS. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
